This is a quiet, responsive role: helping choristers feel safe, settled, included, and ready to sing, while allowing the conductors to lead without interruption. The best Chorister Assistant may hardly be noticed—but the children will feel the difference.

The Comox Valley Children’s Choir is seeking a skilled, reliable, and collaborative Rehearsal Pianist to accompany our choristers during weekly rehearsals. The ideal pianist is musically responsive, comfortable working with children, and able to follow the conductor’s direction while providing the steady, supportive musical foundation our singers need to learn, grow, and sing with confidence.
